# Shufola Shot List

Photography gaps that the 4 mockups graybox. Shufola commissions these for the production build of the winning theme. Each line below is a concrete brief for a photographer.

## Priority 1 — blockers for any premium treatment

### Crude Sesame Oil bottle hero
- **Slot:** products/01 hero + product-detail hero (across all 4 mockups)
- **Subject:** Crude sesame oil in an export-spec container. Steel drum + pourable glass flask paired; or a single tin with label.
- **Lighting:** Soft window light + natural fill. No studio strobes.
- **Composition:** Medium-close, slight 3/4 angle. Cream or linen backdrop. Shadow implies weight.
- **Must avoid:** stock-agri glossy, isolated-on-white catalog look.

### Refined Sesame Oil bottle hero
- **Slot:** products/02 hero
- **Subject:** Refined sesame oil in consumer or export-ready bottle. Glass preferred; clear tin acceptable.
- **Lighting:** Soft window light + natural reflector.
- **Composition:** Medium close on bottle; slight 3/4 angle. Cream or linen backdrop. Optional: two bottle variations staggered.

### Brown Sesame Seeds macro
- **Slot:** products/03 hero
- **Subject:** Brown double-skin sesame seeds, tight macro (half-frame fill).
- **Lighting:** Window light + subtle fill.
- **Composition:** Direct top-down or 15° angle. Spill texture across frame corner.
- **Note:** `dsc00602.webp` (scoop on drying floor) and `dsc00723.webp` (hand with seeds) exist as contextual stand-ins but neither is a clean product macro.

### Yellow Sesame Seeds macro
- **Slot:** products/05 hero
- **Subject:** Yellow double-skin sesame seeds — same treatment as brown. No existing photo in set.

### Black Mountain Seeds macro
- **Slot:** products/07 hero
- **Subject:** Black single-skin mountain variety. Different enough from the existing black-double-skin macro (`black-sesame-seeds-double-skin.webp`) to be distinctly readable.
- **Note:** White Mountain Seeds (products/06) can reuse `white-sesame-seeds-single-skin.webp` if lighting/treatment matches the chosen theme.

### Seed Sourcing landscape / farm
- **Slot:** Process: Seed Sourcing (first process step in all mockups)
- **Subject:** Agricultural landscape in Sirajgonj district — sesame fields preferred if seasonally available. Wide shot with sky. Alternatively: farmer hands-in-soil close-up, harvested sesame plants stacked in field.
- **Lighting:** Golden hour preferred.
- **Composition:** Wide establishing shot. Give room for text overlay in sky/foreground.
- **Note:** `dsc00723.webp` (hand with seeds) is the only stand-in available — it is a process shot, not a sourcing/landscape image.

## Priority 2 — strongly desired for V3 (magazine-editorial)

### Founder / family portrait
- **Subject:** Founder or key family member at the Ullapara factory (not a studio backdrop). Environmental portrait.
- **Lighting:** Mixed natural — window light + factory tungsten OK if warm.
- **Composition:** Three-quarter, eye-level, hands visible if interacting with product. No formal suit-and-tie; work clothes or business-casual.
- **Why:** V3 magazine-editorial needs a founder-signature block; without a portrait, the hero narrative falls flat. `dsc01551.webp` (supervisor briefing) and `dsc01625.webp` (team group) are not substitutes.

### Archival / heritage shot
- **Subject:** Either an older / film-grain company photo (if it exists in archives), or a freshly-shot scene staged to feel archival — workers loading sacks, an aged enamel signboard, early-morning drying yard with long shadows.
- **Why:** V3's origin-story section needs visual evidence of heritage.

## Priority 3 — nice-to-have

### Wide facility exterior at dusk
- **Slot:** V1 hero alternate, V4 hero alternate
- **Subject:** Ullapara factory exterior at dusk or early morning. Warm sky + interior lights visible through windows.
- **Lighting:** Available light only. No flash.
- **Note:** `p1455288.webp` (rust-red silos) is our single real exterior — it works but alternatives strengthen the library.

### Dedicated QC lab bench shot
- **Slot:** Process step: Quality Testing, especially prominent in V4
- **Subject:** Lab bench, test tubes, color-testing kit, operator in lab coat.
- **Lighting:** Bright, even. Clinical feel OK here (V4 theme is industrial).
- **Note:** `dsc01216.webp` (titration setup) exists and is the only lab shot — a cleaner-framed version would strengthen V4's facility-first story and reduce single-source dependency.

### Export / loading dock wide shot
- **Slot:** V4 export section
- **Subject:** Flexitank loading, drums being loaded onto container, or a shipping manifest being signed.
- **Lighting:** Daylight if possible.

### Sirajgonj regional landscape (alternate angle)
- **Slot:** V1's Sirajgonj map section + V3's origin-story spread (secondary to Priority 1 sourcing shot)
- **Subject:** River or flat agricultural plain in Sirajgonj — not necessarily sesame-specific; establishes regional identity.
- **Lighting:** Golden hour.

## Technical requirements for all commissioned photos

- RAW or high-quality JPEG originals delivered (we downsize for web).
- Minimum 3000px on longest edge.
- Natural color grading — no Instagram filters, no over-saturated HDR.
- Shot-list IDs written into filename when delivered (e.g. `p1-crude-oil-hero-001.jpg`).

- Priority 1: 6 shots (5 product gaps + 1 sourcing landscape)
- Priority 2: 2 shots
- Priority 3: 4 shots
- **Grand total: 12 photos to commission**
